Contribution of Factors Affecting Crop Production in Bangladesh: An Empirical Analysis with Production Function Approach

Bangladesh has achieved a tremendous success in food production last few decades amidst challenges of land degradation, use changes and climate effect. In spite the increasing trend yields crops, there still remain some to meet growing needs due increase population loss development activities. This study aims identify rate contributions or economics factors crop Bangladesh. Cobb-Douglas function been applied this using number within broad terms land, labour capital. Secondary data, representing production, have selected based on literature reviews so that they can be appropriate for study. Data considered as dependent variables, whereas, area coverage agricultural employed agriculture, household expenditure, fertilizer irrigation independent variables. Land is negatively correlated with positively correlated. Crop which shows decreasing return scale deserves adoption new technology good management practices.
